The Magic Bullet Fund provides veterinary financial aid for dogs with cancer. Assistance is for cancer treatment fees only. The fund does not provide assistance for other conditions, for cancer treatment after the first course of treatment has failed, for palliative care, for euthanasia or for any treatment that has already been done. They also do not offer assistance for: Hemangiosarcoma unless it is cutaneous hemangiosarcoma; assistance for chemotherapy after amputation (bone cancer); radiation therapy at all; mammary cancer if you have a female dog 4 years old or more, and she has not been spayed. |
They offer assistance for amputation surgery when a dog has bone cancer (osteosarcoma) in a limb, but only after Dog & Cat Cancer Fund has offered a grant.
Dogs must be within the following age/weight limits: Dogs 0 to 40 pounds must be 11 or younger; 40 to 80 pounds must be 10 or younger; 80 to 100 pounds must be 9 or younger; Over 100 pounds must be 8 or younger
